Garage Space

There will be a 2 car garage for the apartment. Each space will host one large consumer grade vehicle, and support for electric vehicle charging. This will be on the highest voltage allowed to allow for fastest charging. The charging line will have a standard connection, so a Tesla will need to use an adapter.

The space closest to the door will be my spot for my automobile. When I pull in, I will come in backwards so I can drive straight out when leaving the garage, and more prone to an accident if I was to pull out backwards. I will likely get a pick-up truck, or a SUV. I don’t see myself as a crossover, or sedan driver.

The tenant will have an option for the second space. However, I will charge $150/month + 50ยข per kw for charging. This will be cheaper, and safer than on street parking, and simply put – I could make use of the space for any visitors I might have. If I have to make them park on the street, then I should be compensated for it. Since the tenant does not have to pay for electricity in their residence, they should pay for charging their electric vehicle. They could always stick it to me, and get a gasoline vehicle, and pay nearly $5.00 per gallon (3.79liters).
