Floor 3

The third floor will be the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a library. The front of the floor will be the primary bedroom. In the middle will be the library, linen storage, and a ¾ bathroom for the secondary bedrooms. In the rear will be the secondary bedrooms.

The primary bedroom will be larger than the other bedrooms, and will be located in the front of the building. There will be a ¾ bathroom en-suite for the primary bedroom. Across from the bed will be a wall with 6 ethernet jacks. These ethernet jacks will be for the use of the TV, and any other items necessary. There will be no coaxial jacks. OTA? television will be done through the LAN? This is because I convinced myself that IPTV? is a better value, and solution than a cable TV subscription. Therefore, there will be no need to have any coaxial jacks, and the Tablo can record shows from the communications closet, and provide for any children I might have. The primary bedroom will have 2 safes which will be one for myself, and the other for any significant partner I might have.

There will be a small library for the residence. As with the office, there will be 4 ethernet jacks on each room. There will not be many shelves for books considering that I will push for ebooks rather than physical books. There will be a couch, and 2 recliners for relaxing while reading a good book. The library will also function as a media room with one of the walls having 6 ethernet jacks than 4. This will allow for a TV to connect to the LAN, and stream any videos that are available on the LAN or WAN.

The secondary bedrooms will be the same size. There will be a closet with a biometric safe. Next to the closet, there will be the space for a full size bed. There will be 2 gangs of outlets, and 3 RJ45 connections. These connections can be used to support items that aren’t thought about, but will be important to the resident of the bedroom. An example might be a SIP? phone, or NAS?. If there should ever be a networked connected radio, then this radio can plug in here as well. Since the secondary bedrooms will be in the back of the building – this should reduce the outside traffic.
