Each residence will have a Tablo DVR that would connect the antenna to the appropriate network. A Tablo-4 DVR will be able to record 50 hours of 1080p television. Many station providers have sub-stations, and because of this, their normal resolution is 720p which will offer more hours of recording. There is no direct access to this Tablo as it resides in the communications room within the basement, and plugged into the appropriate switch. As long as the Tablo is plugged into the switch, the tenant can access it with their TV on the same network. This also reduces the chance of theft by a bad tenant.
Recording from the Tablo TV will not record any IPTV (Internet Protocol TeleVision) channels. Instead, it is restricted to OTA (Over The Air) television. Since the 2nd floor is not planned to be a permanent residence, then the Tablo will be reset after the guest leaves.
