There will be a washer/dryer combination in the laundry room. This machine will cost $3.50 for both the wash and dry. There will only be one combination machine in the apartment. The best way to address this feature is to load the clothes before going to bed, and the clothes will be ready for you when you wake up. Dying clothes is not allowed.
If a single load machine is not suitable for you (such as heavy bedding), there will be 2 double load washers, and 2 double load dryers. Each of these machines will be $2.50 per load per machine. This means to wash and dry will cost $5.00. If you have multiple loads of laundry, it might be best to use the laundry room in the basement. In the laundry room in the basement, both washers are side by side, and the dryers are side by side on the opposite wall.
